The MMA Combatives programs are designed purely for self protection and self defence training. There are 2 programs. The first one is an in depth curriculum suitable for everyone and the second is specifically for women. They are unlike any of my other programs because they are:

  • Not fitness based

​

  • Not for a mixed martial arts contest 

​

  • Not a sport

 

There are several areas to learn including:

​

  • Stand up striking skills using all of your bodies natural weapons

​

  • Fast and effective clinches and take downs 

​

  • Grappling and getting up off the ground quickly

​

  • Realistic strategies against edged weapon attacks including a knife

​

  • Impact weapon strategies both offensive and counter offensive

​

  • Realistic offence and counter offensive strategies vs multiple attackers

​

  • Improvised weapons

​

  • Awareness and spotting a potential assault before it happens

​

  • Avoidance and escape tactics 

​

  • Verbal and physical deception both from a criminal perspective, and how you can use this to your advantage to turn the tables in your favour

​

  • Scenario based training and pressure testing

​

Please note:

Both of these programs is one to one or small group training only. They are not available via the Movfit365 app and is not part of the fitness journey.
